Stan Feldman-"Seven years ago at this time I was
teaching 4th graders in a suburban
Minneapolis school. In the years since, Edugeeks,my company,
has become a leader in the sales of summer workbooks and other
products that increase student achievement. I have served on a
Minnesota State Department of Education committee involved with
technology, and a committee promoting science, technology, enginneering
and math (STEM) in our schools through the Minnesota High Tech
Association. Our company has been a leader in the movement to
Stop Summer Learning Loss and Start Improving Student Health. We have been invited to give presentations
on this subject to many groups including teachers, administrators
and school board members who attended the Education Minnesota
and the Minnesota Rural Education Association Conferences".
Paul Englund

"Parenting is one of the most
important jobs that one has. Your children, when they are very
young, have many needs that you meet day in and day out. As they
get older, the needs change, but they still are kids. I learned
much about children from those I taught, as well as my own children.
I want to help you with great workbooks, and a program that will
help you bring up your children to be healthy and retain the skills
that they were taught at school. I want to make you as proud of
your children as I am of mine".
What Others Have Said About
Us
From Van Jordahl, Principal
of School Where Stan Feldman Taught:
Stan worked well with his students and parents and brought technology
into the lives of all his students. He maintained high expectations
from his students and used the computer to help reach students
with varied levels of achievement. He would go the extra mile
to help his students succeed.
Stan was instrumental in helping staff introduce applications
of the computer to their classrooms. He was a leader in technology
for the district and developed the program used by the continuing
education committee for keeping track of teacher licensure.
Stan has continued his dedication to students, learning, and
technology after retiring from teaching. His knowledge of student
needs and computer technology should be a valuable combination
and allow him to succeed with future educational projects.
From a District Committee
The members of our Recertification Committee would like to thank
you for the dedication, commitment, and effort that you put forth
toward accomplishing the committees' goals. You did this first
as a committee member, then as a co-chairperson of the committee,
and you continued working with the committee by donating your
time after you retired from teaching.
Six years ago our committee was totally dependent on paper and
pen to document all approved recertification clock hours. You
wrote a computer program that allowed our committee to do the
same tasks with your capable computer system. You, single-handedly
put an end to the unnecessary paper trail and developed a technology
adept system. Your vision was to use technology to record and
track every licensed staff members' clock hours in the district.
You succeeded in accomplishing your goal and we want to acknowledge
your accomplishments.
Thank you again for your insight, sensitivity, and ethical behavior
that you exhibited in every situation that you dealt with as the
leader of this committee. We appreciated your dedication, your
honesty, and your professionalism.
